EV Radio is free to use, with no account or subscription required. You still need an internet connection; any data charges from your provider apply.

EV Radio doesn't put any ads in audio streams, but the stations themselves can play ads as part of their normal broadcasting.

EV Radio is designed to feel at home in your Tesla, with familiar colours and dashboard styling. It also works in browsers on your phone or computer. Support in other car browsers varies, and not every stream works in every browser.

Yes. Audio streams directly from the broadcaster to your browser. Use your car's internet connection or a phone hotspot.

Yes. Open Add station, choose Enter URL, and enter a name and a direct audio stream or playlist URL. Make sure to use the stream URL, not the station’s website address. Use an HTTPS stream if possible.

Open Add station → Use phone in the player, then scan the QR code. Enter the station details or upload an image in the form on your phone. Keep the player open in the car browser, then review and save the details there. Only the transferred details and image are temporarily stored on the server. They are deleted after the player retrieves them or the link expires, after 10 minutes.

Your stations, custom images, and preferences are saved in your car browser only. There is no account, automatic sync, or server backup of your station list. Clearing browser data removes your list. A stream may be offline, blocked in your region, or incompatible with your browser. The community-maintained Radio Browser directory used by EV Radio can also contain outdated links. Check your connection and try another station. The user guide has more troubleshooting steps.
